Andrew Long Show – Episode 3: Lara Hardwick

Episode 3 of The Andrew Long Show is now available in our iTunes feed. This week we spoke with Lara Hardwick, who owns Arizona’s first independent cheese shop, Petit Fromage. She talks about, well, cheese, as well as how she came to be the proud owner of the state’s first specialty cheese shop.

The podcast is starting to come along better with each episode. The first episode featured three guests, the second had two, and now we had just a one-on-one interview-style episode. Personally I prefer these one-on-one interviews, but two guests isn’t bad. This episode had more editing that the previous two, which I think helps keep things rolling (taking out long pauses).

Next week we will be interviewing some journalists from the Arizona Republic who cover controversial county sheriff Joe Arpaio. Also, we are working on a second series of podcasts on the intersection of technology and journalism, so keep an eye out for that!
