Link Dump – Vol. IV

The Link Dump is my opportunity to post a consortium of links to various things which I thought were worthy of note.

  • Wired As a Star Wars fan, I liked these Star Wars Themed pumpkins.  Check out the gallery, there are some really really good ones!
  • TechCrunch Ever get linked to a YouTube video but don’t know what part your friend wants to show you?  Well now YouTube has enabled “deep linking”, which allows you to link to a specific minute/second moment within a video.
  • Boing Boing Some Obama supporters in Pennsylvania have created what looks to be about a 100 ft long portrait of the Illinois senator with paint on an open field.  Pretty cool.
  • Digg News Apparently the new MacBooks (with their multi-touch, glass, no button trackpad) are having problems.  Reports say every now and then the pad stops registering clicks for 5-10 seconds.  Ruh-roh.
  • TechCrunch The guys at the Crunch have discovered a handy webapp that tells you if your favorite username is taken at various popular websites.  I pretty much have complete domain over “chcameron”.

Ideas for the Link Dump?  Email your submissions to chcameron@gmail.com
